Originally built during the 12th and 13th century, historic Castell Sant Mori underwent major renovations in the 15th century. This graciously proportioned castle is tucked away in Sant Mori, in the Ampurdan district of the Gerona province. It’s a fabulous place to unwind and explore this part of the Costa Brava. The vast living spaces of Castell Sant Mori are spread over three floors. On the ground floor there is the main dining room and a spacious well-equipped kitchen - here you’ll find convenient access to the pool area, a meeting room, a games room, a peaceful interior courtyard and a utility room. The first floor includes yet another spacious living room with an impressive characteristic fireplace, a more intimate cozy sitting room, and a games room. Castell Sant Mori is an expansive rambling property and features 12 lovely and spacious bedrooms all with excellent en-suite facilities. The sleeping arrangements are extensive and feature many varied configurations. The master suite includes a fireplace, dressing room, and well equipped en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub. All bedrooms feature unique furnishings and décor inspired by the castle’s history. There is also a separate apartment on the top floor with twin beds, a bathroom with shower, dressing room, living room and a small room with a small single bed that is ideal for a child.
